What Other Retailers Can Learn from Prada02/14/2003230 Kb

Description:  The Prada Epicenter store in Manhattan is an unusual experiment in retail that offers a bold rethinking of how retail space and technology can be used throughout the store. Associates can use handheld readers to scan RFID tags on a piece of clothing, then give the customer a real-time view of the retailer's back-room inventory so he or she can consider only the colors and sizes in stock. Eventually, that view will extend to other New York stores, the local warehouse, even to the Prada store in Paris.
