From the only bar code printing solution natively supported in SAP to a host of SAP solutions offered by our partners, Zebra offers an unmatched choice of output options that make Zebra the choice for RFID and bar code label printing in the SAP environment. This range of choices, backed by Zebra’s network of partners experienced in SAP printing implementations, enable you to minimize integration time and expenses by choosing the solution that best meets your enterprise needs.

Bar Coding Solutions

  • Take advantage of the new native ZPL printer driver in SAP Smart Forms (mySAP™ Business Suite version 4.6c) to print bar codes from these applications without any additional programming or middleware. ZPL from Zebra is the first and only bar code printer control language that SAP embeds in its software.
  • Interactive Forms based on Adobe® software for the SAP NetWeaver platform also supports ZPL and includes bar code rendering libraries, so users can design their own forms for direct bar code output and send it directly to a Zebra printer. Zebra is the only bar code printer manufacturer with native driver support in Interactive Forms.
  • Zebra’s BAR-ONE® for mySAP™ Business Suite enables printing directly from SAP. Featuring a Windows-based interface and a WYSIWYG design environment, users can easily create and modify labelswith bar codes, text and graphics. Label designs can be uploaded directly into SAP system layout sets – with no need for middleware or manual scripting.
  • More details on each of these solutions are available in our white papers: Bar Coding Options for SAP End Users (PDF, 111 KB) and Zebra’s BAR-ONE for mySAP Business Suite

International Printing

  • Most Zebra industrial and commercial bar code printers support UTF-8, the most common Unicode code page. This allows SAP end users to print the characters they need for most of the world’s major languages. Zebra’s Unicode-enabled printers provide SAP users the ability to design labels one time and use them throughout the world without redeveloping them for different languages. SAP users can significantly reduce their label development time and associated costs with Zebra’s Unicode solution.
