In order to comply with European Union (EU) directive 2002/96/EC, otherwise known as Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), Zebra has introduced an equipment-recycling program for Zebra resellers and customers in the EU. It has also begun marking products to show that they should not be treated as normal waste.
