| ZBI 2.0 Application Development |
"Through the use of real world examples the students will learn how to use the ZBI 2.0 programming language. Day 1 is a high level review of Visual Basic. Days 2 and 3 are dedicated to creating applications and getting them to run on Zebra printers. Below are some of the things ZBI 2.0 can do. Customize and enhance your Zebra printers with ZBI 2.0. Available as an optional programming language, ZBI 2.0 allows Zebra printers to run applications, prompt users through control-panel commands & take input from scales, scanners and other peripherals—all without a PC or network connection. ZBI 2.0 works with the ZPL printer command language so that printers can understand non-ZPL data streams and convert them into labels. That means the Zebra printer can create bar codes and text from input received, non-ZPL label formats, sensors, keyboards and peripherals. Printers can also be programmed to interact with PC based database applications to retrieve information to be used on printed labels."
Below the Z Series, S4M & Stripe Printer Operations and Maintenance Course change the printers listed to; "ZM400 & ZM600, Z4MPlus & Z6MPlus, Stripe S4M & Stripe S600 printers".
