Cloud Connection Settings

Enroll and enable cloud connectivity using this page.

Enrollment is the first step whereby reader is registered as an IoT device with the cloud service provider.

After enrollment, reader is connected to cloud application by an IoT agent service on the reader that enables control, monitor and data channels for cloud app to communicate with the reader.

Once enrolled, reader connects to cloud application automatically on reader reboot. To use reader in native LLRP mode disconnect the reader from cloud.

• Enrollment Status - Shows reader's current state of cloud enrollment

Following parameters are required to enroll the reader. Values for these parameters are obtained after creating and registering your cloud application and needs to be keyed in to this page.

• Claim code - Secret code for enrolling the device

Enroll: Click enroll to Enroll the reader to cloud with claim code entered

Disenroll: Disenroll reader from cloud. Note: If reader is already enrolled, it needs to be first disenrolled from Cloud device configuration interface. By clicking Disenroll, the reader is made aware that device has been dis-enrolled from cloud. Currently reader cannot initiate a dis-enrollment from cloud by itself

Cloud Connect Mode: Configure Reader in Cloud Connect or LLRP Mode. Once Enrolled Click Enable to set Cloud Connect Mode. Click Disable to bring LLRP.

Connection status: Status of communication channel from cloud IoT agent on the reader to cloud service is indicated here. Once Enrolled and Enabled Cloud Connect Mode connection status of Management Plane, Control Plane and Data Plane will be displayed.

• Interface - shows current interface settings as defined in cloud configuration HTTP, MQTT etc.

• Description - shows current interface description.

• Connection Status - shows current interface connection status "connected" or "disconnected".

• Connection Error - shows current interface connection error.

Note:Connection will be terminated if reader is not enrolled.
