Change Password

Note :- Password can be changed only when the reader's web interface is in secure mode. Change the Web Server to HTTPS to enable change password.

• Select the user whose password is to be changed from the drop down menu. Type the old password, and the new password (twice) on the Change Password page, and then click Change Password.Password shall be changed with immediate effect. 'guest' user does not need a password to login and hence is not listed for the change password operation.
• Enter your password that should satisfy the following criteria:
  • For username admin -Should contain minimum of 8 and maximum of 32 characters
  • For username rfidadm - password should contain minimum of 16 and maximum of 32 characters
  • English uppercase characters (A through Z)
  • English lowercase characters (a through z)
  • Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
  • Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)
  • Should not use previously used five passwords
