License Manager

License manager page enables user to acquire, release and list the available licenses provided they are valid. If license present are invalid or no licese is available, License Unavailable tab will be shown with the message to procure the license.


  • License Operation: Acquire - When Acquire is selected, license can be activated from one of the servers selected below from the Server Type filed.

  • License Operation: Release - When Release is selected, license can be Returned/Revoked to anyone of the servers selected below from the Server Type filed.

  • License Operation: Repair - The repair option is needed, when the Trusted Storage, accidentally gets broken, due to which all the licensed applications gets ceased. Once the repair option is exercised, the required licenses can be acquired again.

  • Device: Offline - When it is set to Offline, license will be activated from .bin file. It has to be downloaded manually from the license server.

  • Device: Online - When it is set to Online, license will be activated from one of the servers selected below from the Server Type filed.

  • Install & Run - By default it is set to true by which upon installing the license (EitherNetIP), Application will be installed on the Reader and starts executing. If not set, Application(s) will not be installed.

  • Server Type: Production Server - Production Server is for External Customers.

  • Server Type: UAT Server - UAT Server is for internal customers like Sales Engineers, Developers & Test Enginners.

  • Server Type: Local License Server - This server is Local License Server (LLS). This has to be hosted within the LAN network.

  • Activation ID: - Activation ID of license. This field will be available if offline is not selected.

  • Available License(s): - License information like License Index, name, Version, Expiry date, count and Host ID will be shown in this tab if any license is present and valid.

  • License Unavailable: - If license is not present or invalid, License Unavailable tab will be shown with the message to procure the license.
