A.S. Watson Group Selects Zebra Technologies to Accelerate Digitization of their Operations

A.S Watson Group recognizes Zebra as Official Tech Partner for second year.

BOURNE END, UK – Nov. 21, 2018 Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), an innovator at the edge of the enterprise with solutions and partners that enable businesses to gain a performance edge, announced today that A.S. Watson Group (ASW), the world’s largest international health and beauty retailer, selected Zebra Technologies for the second year to be part of its Technology Partners Day. During this summit, Zebra received the appointment as Official Tech Partner 2019 and is the only mobile devices supplier in this exclusive community, selected to work closely with ASW to help accelerate the organization’s business growth. ASW has chosen to equip its global front-line workforce with Zebra’s TC51 Android-based touch mobile computers.

ASW selected Zebra’s TC51 touch mobile computers to replace previous models and migrate to the Android™ operating system (OS), arming store associates with a device that will remain compatible with future generations of Android. Several thousand TC51 devices have been deployed at UK, Hungary and Benelux ASW store locations, with France, Spain and China to follow during 2019. The solution is being implemented both in store and at its store warehouses. This has benefited ASW with providing faster omnichannel support, enabling users to fulfil online orders with store inventory, conducting tasks with faster accuracy and enhancing customer service and experience on the shop floor with increased efficiency.
