Zebra Technologies to Showcase New Solutions that Help Retailers Capture Their Edge at EuroCIS 2019

New series of imagers, RFID handheld readers and personal shopping solution improve store associate productivity and shopper satisfaction

Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), an innovator at the edge of the enterprise with solutions and partners that enable businesses to gain a performance edge, will be showcasing solutions that enhance the shopping experience at EuroCIS 2019. These solutions provide intelligence about the shopper and goods they are looking for so retailers can respond quickly and deliver a more personalized, seamless experience.

Zebra’s booth will also feature PartnerConnect partners - Bütema, Cosys, Symphony Retail AI, MSC Computer, Profitect, Quinyx, SOTI - who help retailers capture their edge by enabling them to deliver tailored shopping experiences. Zebra and its partners will display solutions including the personal shopping solution (PSS), inventory management, fulfillment, assisted selling and staff enablement. These provide better business insights visibility into assets and optimize the fulfillment of in-store and online orders.

Zebra will be showcasing two new data capture solutions at EuroCIS 2019. The next-generation, general purpose DS9900 series of corded hybrid imagers is designed to improve store associate and shopper experience at the point-of-sale (POS) by facilitating fast, frictionless check-out across retail stores and quick-serve restaurants (QSRs). With a compelling design and one of the fastest scanning performance in its class, the DS9900 eliminates the need for multiple devices by including high-resolution image capture, an optional Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) tag deactivator, and an RFID reader model, lowering costs and streamlining workflows. Zebra’s new rugged MC3300R series of RFID readers, our first UHF RFID handheld solution with Android™, is designed to provide a performance edge for inventory management, order fulfillment, cross-docking, and asset tracking applications.

Also, on display will be the PS20, Zebra’s sixth-generation PSS, which allows shoppers to scan items as they go, streamlining the checkout experience. Zebra’s Android-based PSS enables a new range of applications that empower store associates to improve efficiency while providing a more personalized, frictionless shopping experience for customers.
