David Añón is an entrepreneurial, innovative marketing executive with years of global experience guiding brands through periods of accelerated growth. He has innate acumen in leveraging customer insights, channel engagement, and market demand to development data driven sophisticated marketing strategies aimed at enhancing revenue and expanding brand metrics. David is a member of the Global Marketing Leadership at Zebra and oversees the overall marketing efforts across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Prior to joining Zebra, David was the Vice President of Marketing for eMerge Americas. He has worked across various industries including Consumer Electronics, Mobile, Broadcast and Professional Equipment, and Sports and Entertainment. He served as Vice President, General Manager for WWE in Latin America managing a multi-million dollar revenue budget across all lines of business. Prior to WWE, David was Head of Marketing for BlackBerry in Latin America collaborating with a solid portfolio of global brands and artists. With his hands-on approach and visionary leadership, David has launched award winning innovative initiatives with brands like NBC Universal, People en Español, American Airlines, the NBA, MTV, A&E, Terra and AXN. Additionally, he has held prominent leadership roles, such as, Vice President of Marketing at The Beacon Council, Director of Global Marketing at Brightstar Corporation, and Senior Marketing Communications Manager at Sony Latin America.
David has served as a speaker, panelist, and company spokesperson at various international forums and events, such as, The Americas Competitiveness Forum, Mobile World Congress, MIPCOM, LA Screenings, The Caribbean-Central American Action, Management TV, New Generation Latino, Hispanicize, Latin Billboard Music Conference, and CNN en Español.
