Director of Industrial Design, Zebra
Jaeho Choi is responsible for the Industrial Design function at Zebra, with a particular focus on the Enterprise Mobile Computing (EMC) and Specialty Printer (SPG) category products. Working closely with the EMC and SPG business units, Mr. Choi seeks to understand evolving customer needs, business environments and workflows to integrate world-class industrial design practices into the solutions they develop – particularly for the retail, field mobility and warehouse markets. This empowers Mr. Choi and his team to develop sustained design innovations which, in turn enables them to consistently deliver products with customer-driven differentiated value, such as enhanced user productivity and product performance. This also gives Zebra with a competitive advantage across product portfolios.
Mr. Choi has spent more than 18 years designing enterprise class products and ecosystems, and he has led efforts to solve complex design problems. He is credited with driving both design vision and execution for products ranging from rugged handhelds, wearables and tablets to printers and in-vehicle computers.
Mr. Choi has received 42 Design and Utility patents to date, along with two Distinguished Innovation Awards and 14 International Design Awards.
