“-847” Error When Trying to Update Device with AirBEAM

Symptom

When using the AirBEAM client to synchronize with the server that contains the AirBEAM package, an “-847” error occurs

Root Cause

Missing/invalid AirBEAM license.

Resolution

Make sure there is a valid AirBEAM.key in the \Platform and \Application folder.

In the event that the device does not show a valid AirBEAM key in the \Platform and \Application folder, contact the Zebra Enterprise Customer Interaction Center within the United States and Canada at 1-800-653-5350 [Call: 1-800-653-5350] .
