Issue / Question

Adjust ZC printer to print image on the full card

Applicable To

ZC100, ZC300, ZC350

Resolution / Answer

Before making any adjustment on the printer driver, check the size of your image.

ZC printer image size is 1006 x 640 pixels

You may need to resize the image to 1006 x 640 pixels or ensure that your print application fits the image to the card.

When you have done above and the printer still did not print on full card, you may do the fine adjustment below.

From the driver go into "Print Optimization and Adjustment" tab on the top and screen will refresh.

Click on Alignment tab on the left.

On this screen, you can make fine adjustment

X Offset will set the placement of the image along the long axis
Y Offset will set the placement of the image along the short axis

Image fill will change the length of the printed image

With the images that is 1006 x 640 pixels, start by adjusting the X to go close to the edge of the card.
Do note that if you make the X too closed to the edge, that may result in ribbon breakage during printing. If that happen, adjust the X Offset again,
Once that X adjustment is done, you may not adjust image fill to cover the other end of the card.

You may increase the image fill to by .1 at a time to see the print to cover the whole card.
Do note that if you make the X too closed to the edge, that may result in ribbon breakage during printing. If that happen, adjust the Image Fill again.
