Connecting printer to a PC via direct LAN/RJ45
Applicable To
Zebra printers with Ethernet connectivity.
Resolution / Answer
- In order to send the network configuration to the printer, the printer must be connected and installed on a computer using the USB cable.
Steps to be taken :
1.Configure your computer IP address to static IP
Go to Control panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Click on Local Area Connection > Properties > Highlight on “Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4) > Click on “Properties” > Choose “Use following IP address:"
2. Setup printer static IP address on same range as your computer IP (via USB cable)
E.g. : -
Note: Restart the printer manually once successfully configured Printer IP
3. Test your connectivity by using command prompt(CMD)
Example: ping 192.168.1.15
4. Or browse to the printer IP address to check the connection:
