Issue / Question
How Can I Cut the Label at the End of the Print Job instead of each label?
Applicable To
All Printers with a cutter.
This article is valid only when the labels are printed from ZebraDesigner.
Resolution / Answer
The printer driver has been created to cut the paper after a certain numbers of labels, but if you don't know how many labels will be the job and you simply want to cut the paper when the job it's over, you can set an high number in the "group quantity".
In order to do so, open the Windows control panel, "Devices and Printers", right click on the printer, select "Printing Preferences" and go in the "Advanced Setup" tab.
Also remember to enable the following option in the printer properties, in order to force the printer to use the driver settings.
In this example the paper will be cut every 100 labels and at the end of the job, so you should just be sure that the number of label in the job will not be higher than 100 so, if the jobs might be bigger than 100 labels, set a higher number.
