Full administrator right / access on your Windows PC
Important: Modification of the printer driver settings will not enhance the printer performance.
Procedure
Log in to your computer using an administrator account, determine the InfPath of the printer driver from Windows registry :
1) Windows search > Run > regedit or regedit.exe > OK
2)
i) Local Printers :
Locate Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows x64\Drivers\Version-3
* Windows 64 bit = Windows x64
* Windows 32 bit = Windows NT x86
If you’re not sure whether you have a 64- or 32-bit system, click Start, right-click “Computer” and select “Properties” to find out. Under “Version-3,” you’ll find driver information for each of your printers.
ii) Networked Printers :
Locate Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Providers\LanMan Print Services\Servers
If the networked printer is installed on a printer server computer. You should see a folder with the same name as your printer server computer and, underneath that folder, you’ll see a list of all hosted printers.
3)
i) Browse to the InfPath from Windows explorer without launching the "zbrn.inf" > Open "Common" folder and locate the printer Data File (*.dat) . Example : BAZT6106.dat
4) Edit the Data File (*.dat) default value(default settings) or const parameters (limitations) then save it.
*Edit as notepad (*.txt) and change it back as *.dat after save & editing.
For the example, we modify the driver default settings speed as 6, darkness as 30, limitation of media width from 1080 to 2000, MaxWidth from 1040 to 2000 :
5) Restart your computer.
