Resolution / Answer

The splash page can be changed by uploading a file in the printer's memory named:  starting_up.BMP

Firstly, you'll need to determine if your printer has a color display or a monochrome version.
Based on what display type you have you need to save the .BMP file using the correct resolution.

•    240 x 128 pixels
•    1-bit color (black and white only)
•    320 x 240 pixels
•    24-bit color

The file will need to be stored in the printer's flash memory.
This can be done with the ! CISDFCRC16 command.
Please refer to the ZPL manual for further details.

** With ZebraNet Bridge you can also add a header containing the ! CISDFCRC16 command.

*** You can also use the USB host port to store the image if supported by your printer.

**** Another workaround that can be used is to use the “Send and store file in printer memory” option available in the “tools” section of a mobile printer(CPCL) ZDesigner driver.

A correctly formatted file containing a header to store it in the printer's memory can be found here.  Download>>
Please note that the file cannot be opened on the PC when a header has been added, but the file's contends can be viewed with an advanced text editor.

Send the file including the header to the printer using the send file option in the "tools" section of the driver or via the ZDownloader tool.
When you restart the printer the splash page will look like:

To delete the custom splash file and restore the printer back to normal; send the following command:

! U1 do "file.delete" "E:starting_up.bmp"
