ZT400 Series, ZT500 Series, QLn Series, ZT200 Series, ZQ300 Series, ZD Series, iMZ Series, ZT600 Series, ZQ600 Series, ZQ500 Series

Resolution / Answer

Link-OS printers include the SGD 'wlan.8021x.peap.anonymous_identity' command that can be used to specify an anonymous identity for systems that support a separate authentication outside of a secure tunnel.   When using PEAP which has a secure tunnel over which authentication credentials are delivered, sometimes a identity outside the protections of the tunnel is specified.

A separate anonymous identity can be used only if the authentication server is set up to support it.

If no anonymous identity is specified with this SGD command, the actual identity will be sent outside of the tunnel.

Usage examples:

! U1 setvar "wlan.8021x.peap.anonymous_identity" "anonymous"
