Printing a test card that shows the printers configuration

Resolution / Answer
It is possible to print a test card that shows some basic configuration settings.
One needs to use the Toolbox utility which is embedded within the driver to produce such a card.
Access to the ZXP Series Toolbox can be gained through the printer driver; select Start > Devices and Printers. Then right-click on the Zebra ZXP Series X Card Printer listing, and select Properties > Device Information. Click on the ZXP Toolbox button (circled below).
The ZXP Series Toolbox can also be accessed via Start > All Programs > Zebra ZXP Series X Card Printer > ZXP Toolbox.
*replace X with the ZXP model number
Navigate to the “Print Sample Card” menu as shown in the below screenshot.
ZXP 7 & 8:
The Print Configuration Test Card button provides printer configuration data on a card. Note that single-sided printers will print information on two cards, dual-sided printers will print information on both sides of one card.
