Issue / Question
Non-US/Canada and Japan QLn customers upgrading to Link-OS 5 firmware will see a persistent "Country Code Not Selected" alert on their LCDs if the printer's wlan.country_code parameter is set to the default of "not selected". Although this message is intentional for WLAN printers, the alert is not applicable for Bluetooth-only QLn printers, and does not affect the printer's normal operation.
Printer configurations that support multiple countries ship from the factory with the region code set to "rest of world", and the country code not set. For these configurations the user then configures the appropriate county code in order to configure the WLAN channels for their country.

Resolution / Answer
Setting the correct country code on the printer resolves the issue. This can be accomplished by sending the following SGD command to the printer by any available communications method, or by using the Zebra Setup Utilities and configuring the printer for your country as if it was a WLAN printer.
! U1 setvar "wlan.country_code" "my_country"
