This procedure assumes you have the latest version of the ZebraDesigner Driver installed, also the PC and printer attached to an active network.. i.e. you can ping the printer's IP Address from the PC.

This example was created using Windows 7.

1. Go to the Start Menu and select Devices and Printers

2. Select Add a printer

3. Select Add a Local Printer

4. Create a new port. (This assumes you don't have a pre-existing port created to select from.)

5. Select ZDesigner Port Monitor from the Port Type list then Next

Note: You can use the Microsoft Standard TCP/IP Port but the ZDesigner Port Monitor enables bi-directional data communications. This can be useful when using the Zebra Setup Utility Communications Window.

6. Enter the IP Address of your printer then OK

 7. Choose the ZebraDesigner Driver from the Manufacturer list and select your specific model, then Next.

8. Use the driver that is currently installed unless advised otherwise and then Next

9. Give the printer a name that will appear on your printer list then Next

10. Print a test label to confirm printer communication is successful
