Using Microsoft 's PrintUI command the printer settings can be stored into a file and then imported to another PC.

Details

To store/export the the printer settings to a file the following PrintUI command can be used:

rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /Ss

Example:

rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /Ss /n "Zebra TTP 2030" /a "TTP2030.dat"

In the example above the PrintUI command will store/export  the printer settings to a file called TTP2030.dat. To restore/import the printer settings from a file the following command can be used:

rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /Sr

Example:

rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /Sr /n "Zebra TTP 2030" /a "TTP2030.dat"

 

Note: When exporting/importing  printer settings the exact printer name that is used in the Printers and Faxes windows must be used.
