Can the P370 Transfer Data to a Host Without the Cradle?

P370

Answer

The P370 cannot connect directly to a host device (PC, cash register, etc.) as a tethered scanner.  It must communicate to its cradle, which is attached to the host device via a communications cable.

The RJ-45 connection on the base of the P370/P470 is for updating firmware or programming the device with an MCL application.
