Resolution / Answer

Band Preference:

Allows users to specify which access point to connect to based on preferred band. By default device roams without regard to the frequency band of the available access points.



'BandPreference : 0'; this means the radio does not prefer any band.

Further setting values and their meanings..

0 = off
1 = prefer 2.4GHz
2 = prefer 5GHz
