Applicable To

3600, DS81x8, DS22x8, DS4608, DS4308, LS2208, LI4278

Resolution / Answer

1. If you are not familiar with ADF and 123scan,please review article  - Creating an Advanced Data Formatting (ADF) Rule Using 123Scan

2. Create an ADF trigger code with a meaningful label. In the example below we will use " ENTER" for creating trigger barcode that will perform an Enter keystroke as needed

3. Click on " Trigger barcode" to generate the trigger barcode in Micosoft Word format.

4. Create an ADF rule to send an enter key when the specific string trigger code " ENTER" is scanned.

5. Load the 123scan .scncfg file to the scanner or print programming barcodes to scan

6. When the trigger barcode " ENTER" is scanned it will execute an enter keystroke only. Any other scanned barcodes will transmit data
