Windows CE 4.2 and 5.0

  1. Open the Start Menu (Click Start or refer to the terminal user guide for keyboard shortcut)
  2. Open the Settings menu and select Control Panel [press Enter]
  3. Open the System icon and navigate to the Properties tab.

Most terminals will generate the System properties file in the Flash Disk; some terminals will also place a copy in the Temp folder.  Copy the file to a removable storage device or to a network location.

Windows CE 6.0

  2. Open the Settings menu and select Control Panel [Press Enter]
  3. Open the System Properties icon and click the Export button

The Export button will allow you to select the folder and file name to use when saving the file.  This file will be exported as an XML file and can be copied from the terminal using the same means as above.

Windows Mobile 5.0, 6.0, and 6.1

  1. Open the Start Menu
  2. Select Settings and navigate to the System Tab
  3. Open the ‘About Device’ icon.
