Downgrade from Lillipop to Kitkat

Resolution / Answer

To downgrade From Lollipop to Kitkat you must do the following:

 

  • Go to the portal and download BSP 15.06 Full Software Update and Enterprise reset package.  When an enterprise reset is performed, the device will be restored to it's factory settings with the exception of the Enterprise folder content. 
  • Copy the zip file to the internal memory of the device or external SDcard
  • In the terminal enter to recovery mode. To enter to recovery mode reset your device  and press and hold the PTT button until the device
    vibrates, the recovery menu will show.
  • Navigate through the options to select the zip file for the Full Software you downloaded before. Using volume up and down then to select the option press the PTT button.
  • Once the installation will complete do the same with the  Enterprise reset package.


If your device was manufacture before July 31, 2017 and has never been repaired you can downgrade to BSP version 14.04

  • Go to the portal and download T75N0KEXARDEF01404.zip for GMS or T75N0KEXVRDEF01404.zip for NON_GMS this image has embedded adn enterprise reset which is needed when downgrading. When an enterprise reset is performed the device will be restored to it's factory settings with the exception of the Enterprise folder content. 
  • Copy the zip file to the internal memory of the device or external SDcard
  • In the terminal enter to recovery mode. To enter to recovery mode reset your device  and press and hold the PTT button until the device
    vibrates, the recovery menu will show
  • Navigate through the options to select the zip file for the OSUpdate you downloaded before. Using volume up and down then to select the option press the PTT button.
