Resolution / Answer

To transfer scanned data from a mobile computer to a PC you need to use DataWedge and IPWedge.

From Zebra portal download IPWedge and install it on your PC.
Once the installation is complete, run IPWedge. Select 'Allow access' when prompted for the firewall access shown below:

When IPWedge will be running, the icon will appear in the windows taskbar, click on the icon to see the IP address and port currently used.


Now download and install IP Output Plug on you PC. Connect the terminal to the PC over USB. From start>symbol IP Output Plug-in run the installer and follow the instructions on the screen of the terminal.

Once the installation is complete restart Datawedge by stopping and starting the application. Go to Advance configuration>profiles>(Profile in use)>Output>IP output here set the same IP and port as seen in IPWedge.

Go back to the profile use Routes>Route0>Output>Plugin>IP output.


Save the configuration, in the PC open any text editor application place the focus there and start scanning on the terminal, you will see the data being transmitted to the PC.
