The HC100 media cartridges are self contained media supplies that can be impacted by issues that require user intervention.   • It is recommended to Power On the printer before inserting your media cartridge. This will minimize cartridge jamming or initialization issues.
  • Verify the platen roller and drive roller are clean and do not show excessive wear.

Media is protruding from the cartridge

If the wristband should stop with an inch protruding (at the black mark), do not pull the wristband to advance it. Cut the wristband. Pulling the wristband will cause it to break off inside the cartridge.
