Topic or Information

To get a faster response from the Kiosk TTP driver's Language Monitor you will need to make a change to the "READ_THREAD_SLEEP" registry setting.

Applies To

Zebra Kiosk Printers

This setting controls the auto status inquiry time. Durning the print idle time, the read thread is inquiring the status from the printer and signals a status change.

To make this change you will need to do the the following:

Go to Start/Run and in the open field type "regedit".

Then locate the following Windows Registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors\Zebra TTP 2000 Language Monitor    (Note: The Zebra Kiosk Language Monitor path should match the printer name.)

By default this setting is set to 1500 seconds.
