Cold booting sets the control panel settings back to factory defaults.
Create a registry key and place it in the Application folder of the MC90xx.
  1. Set the duration for timed aim modes:
    • *Aim Duration is the time for which the laser will be enabled, when the “Aim Type” is either “Trigger” or “TimedHold”.  The value specified is in milliseconds with a Range = 0-60000, in increments of 100.  The default is set to 500ms.
  2. The registry key can be found at:
    • [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\BarCodeReader\Settings]

  3. Export the registry key and place the .reg file into the Application folder on the device.
  4. Cold boot to test.
