Answer

When using ScanWedge to read a bar code into another application, such as Pocket Word, the bar code is enclosed in double brackets.

Change the Config settings in ScanWedge.
  1. Click the ScanWedge icon in the system tray at the bottom right-hand corner.
  2. In the menu click “Config” then click “Setup”.
  3. Remove the double brackets in the field “Prefix to send before bar code”.
  4. Remove the double brackets in the field “Suffix to send after bar code”.
