This document provides information on ISO standards used on Zebra printer's magnetic encoding

All Zebra Card printers equipped with magnetic encoding option

Details

Many Zebra printers support magnetic stripe card encoding and reading.  Furthermore, Zebra offers many tools (including drivers, SDKs, and support utilities) that take advantage of magnetic encoding and reading capabilities.  ISO specifications related to magnetic stripe card encoding are published by the International Organization for Standardization. You can find them at www.iso.org and you will see that they have online ordering capability for full documentation.

The ISO documents relating to Magnetic Stripe Encoding are the 7811 series, you can go to the online store and enter 7811 in the "Search by ISO number" field and it will show you the family of documents available.

The ISO documents relating to Contact SMART cards are in the 7816 series, you can go to the online store and enter 7816 in the "Search by ISO number" field and it will show you the family of documents available.
