The ZPL Mode Protect Command is used to restrict users from changing select or all settings via the display.

Applies To

All industrial tabletop printers except the ZT400 and ZT200 Series. (The ZT400 supports WML scripts for custom LCD Configurations)

The ZPL Mode Protect Command can be used to lock select individual settings or all settings as decribed in the ZPL Manual ^MP Mode Protect Read More>> 

Example: To lock out all settings and require a password send the following ZPL Commands

^XA^MPM^JUS^XZ

^XA^KPXXXX^JUS^XZ

Change the XXXX to a 4 digit number wanted to unlock front panel.
