Article ID: 36465670
memory leak occurs when the MC50 imager is used to scan, or when the imager is turned on and off programmatically
Problem with PixDLL.dll causes the memory leak
A memory leak occurs when the MC50 imager is used to scan, or when the imager is turned on and off programmatically. The memory usage increases and is not restored until the device is reset.
To resolve this issue apply an updated PixDLL.dll.
- Extract PixDLL.dll from the attached.zip file.
- Replace PixDLL.dll from the /Platform folder on the device with the updated .DLL.
- Hard reset the device.
- To ensure the updated .DLL is loaded, run CtlPanel located in the /Application folder. Then go to Scanner Settings -> Scanner Version and make sure the Decoder Version is 3.04.
