NOTE Please note that the following functionality is available only for licensed version of ZebraNet Bridge. If you don't have a license, you can use this method, which is a little more complex. |
With ZebraNet Bridge you can view and edit ZPL files stored in your printer's memory.
This operation is possible only with specific file types (ZPL, DAT, GRF, BAS), while it's not possible with some other file types (FNT, CSV, NRD, PNG, TTF)
Follow the instructions provided below to view and edit printer text files:
- Download and install ZebraNet Bridge from here
- From the Group Management window, expand a printer and navigate to Memory Devices, select a memory location and expand its tree. On the right you'll see the list of file stored in the printer memory. The E memory is the only non-volatile memory with read and write permission.
- Select the file you need to open, right click on it and select Open. The file will be opened in Notes and it will also appear in the Resource Management in the bottom left corner of the window.

- If you need, edit the file and save it. The edited version of the file will be saved in the resources folder, so, drag the file and drop it on the printer name. This operation will save the file on the printer memory.
