Zebra QLn Series Mobile Printers do not directly support Opportunistic Key Caching (OKC)
Zebra QLn Series Mobile Printers
Zebra mobile printers do not directly support Opportunistic Key Caching (OKC), but can coexist with other wireless devices on a network that implements this fast roaming feature. Some wireless implementations may assume that all available client devices support OKC, and may try to initiate a connection with a previously connected client device without verifying its PMKID. This may cause a connection or roaming failure. When using a Zebra mobile printer in a wireless environment that implements OKC, insure that the infrastructure is configured to “validate” the client’s PMKID. QLn series printers do support OKC, but do not cache the PMKID across power cycles.
