P4T does not print the Windows Test Page as expected often just printing black lines.
Graphics are corrupted when printing labels on a P4T through the Windows Driver
Applies To P4T and RP4T.
Cause or Overview The P4T Series Printers do not support graphic compression commands used by the ZebraDesigner so any raster based printing such as graphics will not print correctly.
There is a ZebraDesigner setting "Use ZIP compression" that, by default, is checked and enables compression of all graphics or rendered fonts. To prevent the issue uncheck "Use ZIP compression" when configuring for P4T printers.
(Example using Windows 7)
Find your printer in your Windows printer folder then right click and select Printing Preferences
Select the "Advanced Setup" Tab
Select the "Other" button
Uncheck the "Use ZIP compression" check box
Exit the Properties and check for proper test page printing.
