The mobile wireless printers have an option to be assigned an e-mail address.   One can send e-mail messages to the assigned e-mail address of the printer to print.

Below are the commands necessary to configure the printer for POP3 printing:

! U1 setvar “ip.pop3.enable” “on”
In this example the POP3 servers IP address is 10.17.50.18
! U1 setvar “ip.pop3.server_address” “10.17.50.18”
The printers assigned username and password is printer1@zebra.com
! U1 setvar “ip.pop3.username” printer1@zebra.com
! U1 setvar “ip.pop3.password” “password”
! U1 setvar “ip.pop3.print_headers” “off”
! U1 setvar “ip.pop3.print_body” “on”
! U1 setvar “ip.pop3.verbose_headers” “off”
! U1 setvar “ip.pop3.save_attachments” “off”

In the above example the body of the email contains CPCL.  The printer was not set up to
print the e-mail header information.

NOTE: If so desired the printer can print the headers received in the e-mail.
However,  this data will be formatted as LINE PRINT MODE.

Likewise, if the body of the email does not include valid CPCL it will be seen by the
printer as LINE PRINT MODE data.

The QL PLUS  printers and Road Warrior printers have configurable printer languages
options for CPCL, EPL, ZPL and LINE PRINT mode.   One would need to enable LINE
PRINT mode for the printer to be capable of printing LINE PRINT mode data.

If the QL printer is capable of understanding EPL or ZPL (this is an orderable option for
these printers) the printer is NOT capable of understanding LINE PRINT mode.
