Article ID: 19989248
Topic or Information If the LCD display on your QLn Series Mobile Printer becomes corrupt or display incorrectly, you can restore the default display. Applies To Zebra QLn Series Mobile Printers. Details The QLn's display can be modified by storing a customized index.wml file in E: memory of the printer. The default (factory) index.wml file is not overwritten since it is stored in protected Z: memory. Once the E: memory index.wml is deleted the printer will use the index.wml in Z: memory. To restore the factory index.wml file delete the customized index.wml file that is in E: memory. The command to delete files is: ! U1 do "file.delete" "filename" Example: ! U1 do "file.delete" "E:index.wml" Make sure to shut the printer off and power back on after applying this command. This command does require communication to the printer from a PC and the means to send a file/command to the printer.
