Setting the offset position on EPL printers when using uniquely shaped labels

Labels such as jewelry tags and labels with wide gaps can experience issues such as printing too high on the labels, consistently in same wrong location each time. The print may start too high or low on the label due to the wide gap or black bar location. 

Setting the EPL Q command parameters to compensate for larger gaps and marks will correct the vertical print location on the label. 

The EPL Q command is used to adjust the offset position. Qp1,p2(+/-)p3...the p3 parameter is used to set the offset value in dots.Read More>>.

Note: It is common to use black mark jewelry tags to avoid having to perform this offset adjustment. Consult with your media supplier if you have questions on media availability.
