When Trying to Launch a Pocket PC Application Device Displays “…not a Valid Pocket PC Application”
Article ID: 65176634
Getting error “…..is not a valid Pocket PC application” when trying to run an application on a Pocket PC device.
This problem can happen when you are calling a missing function in the dynamic linked library that is being loaded. This is due to an outdated DLL or a missing DLL on the device.
Use LoadLibrary() and GetProcAddress() to call the function only if it exists.
To resolve this problem, make sure you have the latest DLL which contains the functions that you are calling, or use LoadLibrary() and GetProcAddress() to load the DLL dynamically and call the function only if it exists in the DLL you are loading.
