PCMCIA/Compact flash memory options are not available for the Xi4 Printers
Xi4 Series Printers
The PCMCIA/Compact flash memory options are not available with the Xi4 printer line.
The Xi4 printer currently has 16MB SDRAM (Standard).
Other on-board memory options now include:
**64 Meg Flash is now standard as of Jan 2015
- 64MB SDRAM On-Board Linear Flash Memory (**Factory Installed Only)
- 16MB SDRAM On-Board memory with Printhead Element Out Detection which include ZPL II and XML (available with the 110xi4 only)
- 64MB SDRAM On-Board Linear Flash Memory with Printhead Element Out Detection which include ZPL II and XML (available with the 110xi4 only)
Since the memory slot and card options are no longer available the memory locations such as "A:" and "B:" will no longer exist. You may need to reassign a letter designation to the printer's default memory to specify the usage of the Xi4 printer's on-board flash.
The ZPL command ^CM (Change Memory Letter Designation) allows you to reassign a letter to the printer's on-board memory. This command allows you to reassign the memory device to a corresponding letter without forcing, altering or recreating your ZPL format. Read More>>
