Cause or Overview

This is commonly caused by one of the transport roller drive belts. As these belts wear, they may stretch out. If too much stretching occurs, continuous contact with the pulley(s) is lost, causing the noise.

This is most commonly caused by damaged roller drive belts.  You can attempt a cleaning procedure as described in your printer's user's guide, but beyond that the printer will require service.  Please contact an authorized service provider or fill out a repair order form to have the unit repaired by Zebra.
