RFID Mode is only noticeable if a batch (PQ) is sent to the printer. In RFID Mode, mid batch, the printer will behave as if it was in Rewind Mode; no presenting of label to tear bar between each label. Only after completion of the batch will the printer present the label gap out to the tear bar. The result is noticeably faster throughput. No wasteful slewing/backfeeding between each label mid-batch. If using a RFID - PAX or a printer interfaced with an applicator port option use the Applicator Mode for normal applicator functionality. The ZPL command to set the RFID printer to RFID Mode is ^MMF. The setting can also be set through the printer's front panel LCD. Read More>> |
