Details

Defaulting the settings on a Zebra Mobile Printer requires use of ZPL and Set Get Do commands. 

Defaulting the printer settings

Default the printer configuration settings using the ^JU command. JU command details Read More>>

Example:

^XA^JUF^XZ (Loads factory settings)
^XA^JUS^XZ  (Saves the defaulted values)

The printer will need to run calibration after defaulting if you are using non-continuous mark or gapped labels. Use the ~JC command to perform label calibration

Example:

~JC ^XA^JUS^XZ
 

Defaulting the Communication Settings

Defaulting the communication settings requires use of the Set Get Do command "device.restore_defaults" SGD "restore_defaults" command details Read More>>

Example: (Choices: wlan, ip, power, bluetooth, all) Note: Use of "all" is not recommended

! U1 setvar "device.restore_defaults" "ip" <CR/LF> (defaults all IP parameter)

Important: Cycle power after completing the above steps to complete the defaulting procedure.
