Loading Factory Default settings will restore the printers configuration settings to the original 'out of box' factory settings.
Loading the factory default settings can be performed if the printer is not functioning properly and all the routine adjustments, settings, and troubleshooting have been attempted without success. After defaulting it may be necessary to configure some of the settings through the LCD Display as part of the setup for the specific application.
Prior to loading the factory default settings it is recommended the current printer settings are recorded or a printer configuration label is printed for reference. This can be used if there are unique settings required for your application or you wish to return the printer to the pre-defaulted configuration.
Note: The ZT220 printer does not have an LCD Display so you must either use the Control Panel Keys hold procedure, send ZPL commands, or if networked, you can use the Printers Web Page. Defaulting the ZT Series Printers Read More>>
