ET5X Win 10 WLAN Issue after Reboot

ET5X WLAN sometimes is unable to scan any available SSID after reboot

Resolution / Answer

 

When the issue happened, WLAN SSID list and device manager list status as below:

Solution is downgrade WLAN driver version to 5.93.98.209.

Procedure to downgrade WLAN Driver:

  1. Please contact Zebra Support for older WLAN Driver installer.
  2. Open device manager
  3. Expand Network adapters
  4. Right-click for “Broadcom 802.11abgn Wireless SDIO Adapter” -> properties 
  5. Open Driver tab
  6. Update Driver
  7. Select “Browse my computer for driver software
  8. Select “Let me pick from …..” 
  9. Select “Broadcom 802……. 5.93.98.209…” 
  10. Select Next
  11. Once installation complete, please reboot your device. 
  12. After reboot, please verify your network adapter driver version in device manager > Broadcom 802.11abgn Wireless SDIO Adapter > Driver tab > Driver Version.
