WiFi Config is a wireless supplicant that Psion has developed and uses on some products. Included with WiFi Config is the ability to log information from the wireless supplicant. This information can be very helpful to diagnose problems such as not being able to establish a wireless network connection, a wireless connection that is not stable or problems losing the wireless network connection when roaming. This information is most useful when 'Netlog' information is also captured. Netlog is an Microsoft logging tool that captures NDIS (Ethernet and IP) information.

The steps are as follows

  1. Install “Psion Enable Omnii tiwlnapi debug.cab” and reboot the terminal Download File>>
  2. Enable NETLOG on the terminal, steps below:

  2. Install “Psion Disable Omnii tiwlnapi debug.cab" Download File>>
  3. Stop the netlog capture,  Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Dr. Debug and press the “Stop” button. This step is critical; if the file is not stopped it will not be readable by support.
