WEP Key Rotation can be set up through the Avalanche Console using a Network Profile.
  1. Start your Avalanche Console and connect to your local Agent.
  2. On the left hand side of the Avalanche Console, you will see “Network Profiles”.  Right click on Network Profiles.
  3. Select New Network Profile.  Enter a name.
  4. If you have a “+” sign to the left of “Network Profiles”, click it with the left mouse button.
  5. Right Click your Network Profile and select “Settings.
  6. Select the “Security” tab.
  7. Select Edit Global Settings” first to configure the WEP Key Rotation values.
  8. Click on Key Size and select the size of WEP Key to generate.
  9. Select Start Date to choose the day that you would like the WEP Key Rotation settings to take effect.
  10. Select Start Time to choose the time that you would like the WEP Key Rotation settings to start.
  11. Select Key Rotation Interval to choose how often the WEP Key should be rotated.
  12. Select Pass Code and key in any alpha-numeric value up to twenty characters in length.  This will generate the first WEP Key.
  13. Select Apply.
  14. Respond to the warning message with a “Yes” or a “No”.  This message is letting you know that the change you are making could result in a loss of connectivity of your wireless network.  The software wants to make sure you want to make these changes.
  15. Select OK.
  16. Click on the box labeled Enable WEP Key Rotation.  This will place a check mark in this box.
  17. Select “Apply” then OK.
  18. Right Click your Network Profile and select Enable Network Profile.
  19. Right Click your Network Profile again and select Set as Default Profile.
